Vic: Rescuers locate men stranded in high country
A rescue party has located three men stranded since last night in Victoria's high country
in the state's north-east.
A police spokesman says the search and rescue squad located the three men at Mt Bogong
around 4.15 am (AEST) and all appear to be suffering hypothermia.
He says the men, aged 32, 29 and 25, set out on a cross country snow-shoe hike yesterday.
One of the men contacted the Rural Ambulance Service by mobile phone shortly before
6.30pm to say they were in trouble and that one of them was suffering hypothermia.
Rescuers left at 10.30pm last night and the three men are now receiving medical treatment.
