RPI's Williams runs with chance; Bernardo's backup stars as junior first-year starter.(Sports)

TROY - Isaac Williams had his heart broken when his Shenendehowa High football career ended with an injury.

Then he sat for two seasons at RPI behind tailback Jay Bernardo.

So when the RPI coaches deliberated over their play call with 11 seconds remaining last Saturday, a moment that could make or break their season, Williams knew it was his time.
