NT: Workplace to change under Labor, says Gillard
Deputy Opposition Leader JULIA GILLARD says federal Labor stands by a commitment to
scrap JOHN HOWARD's controversial industrial relations laws.
Ms GILLARD is visiting Darwin today .. as part of a 10-day listening tour of the nation
with new leader KEVIN RUDD.
She says the new-look Labor team won't shy away from making big changes to Australia's
workplace .. if it wins next year's election.
Ms GILLARD says people are concerned about fairness at work.
And she says young families are concerned about a lack of services .. particularly
health services such as bulk-billing and after-hours care.
