SA: Labor govt would scrap nuclear dump in SA, says Latham
Opposition leader MARK LATHAM says a federal Labor government would scrap plans to
build a nuclear waste dump in South Australia.
Mr LATHAM's told ABC radio the HOWARD government is trying to shove the nuclear waste
dump into an area without due process.
Mr LATHAM says a Labor government would start a proper process of deliberation and
public consultation.
